Biography

To me, photography is the art of capturing a memory...

I photograph environmental portraits in color and black & white. I am dedicated to helping my subjects create natural and elegant images that capture for them not only the memory of a physical time and place, but also the memory of their hopes and dreams.

In addition, I have a deep love of natural scenic beauty, and I spend much of my free time photographing some of the amazing wildlife and stunning scenery of Colorado, where I live with my lovely wife, Ellen, and our beautiful boy, who delights us every day.

I've had a passion for photography since my father first introduced me to it when I was a child. I have since learned that memories are fleeting, but I can help people hold on to them through my photos.

My photographs have been published in the Denver Business Journal (7/17/2009) and in government publications, selected to be exhibited by The center for Fine Art Photography, and I am a Getty Artist contributor.
